Gone Home – Lynden Jones

Many of you may have known Lynden Jones who was at one time Vice-President of Basingstoke East Scouts and for many years Chair of 1st Basingstoke Scout Group. Please see this message from Rev’d Audrey D Browne on Lynden’s peaceful passing.
“It is with great sadness that we must inform you all of the peaceful passing of our dear friend and brother Lynden Jones. Kindly keep Chris, Nicola and Katie and their family in your prayers and thoughts. Their dad and grandad passing comes just a few months after the passing of Lynden’s wife Pamela Jones. So, this is especially a difficult time, having to deal with the passing of Lynden so soon after Pam’s passing. We hold them in our thoughts and prayers, that they will know God’s strength and grace in a special way now and in the days, weeks and months ahead.”
