Scouting Supplies REOPENING
27 February 2021
Great news! Normal trading returns soon.
In line with recent government announcements for non-essential retail outlets, Scouting Supplies will return to its customary trading pattern as of Thursday 15th April. Social distancing measures will apply; all adults and teenage children must wear masks and the use of antiseptic gel will be encouraged to prevent the spread of infection. I regret that, for the time being, it will not be possible for customers to try on garments. Sample garments will however be available to help customers gauge the correct size. Payment by card, cash or cheque accepted. Happy to accept advance orders for subsequent collections to reduce the amount of time spent within the trading area – please ask! It would be particularly helpful if Groups would purchase neckerchiefs in bulk to avoid single purchase by each parent.
Throughout March, I will continue to deal with all enquiries on a personal basis from my home and working within current restrictions. Please get in touch if you have any requests either by e-mail or telephone.
There are number of parents who ordered leather belts/buckles last February twelve-month which did not arrive until after coronavirus restrictions forced us to close in March. These have been set aside and I will shortly contact all these parents to confirm whether the item is still required.
Local Price List available on Scouting Supplies Website.
We look forward to welcoming you back.
Scouting Supplies’ annual public meeting, at which the full externally examined accounts for 2020 will presented, is scheduled for Wednesday 5th May 2021
