Army Mechanics Activity Badge Day (Scouts)

This event was previously postponed due to COVID, but we’ve been lucky enough to re-arrange!

This’ll be a chance for Scouts to complete their Mechanics Activity Badge on-site at Lille Barracks, Aldershot – transport will be provided from Base 2000 in Popley (final details will be given in the Joining Instructions closer to the date).

They’ll be working on suitable military vehicles for the first part of the day, the second part of the day will be a ‘Army look at life’ activity. Lunch will be provided in a Central Army Cookhouse.

There’s a £5 charge for this event, which is to help cover the transport costs – the rest is being funded by The British Army and Basingstoke East Scouts.

We’re limited to 60 scouts (we’re not limited on adult numbers) on this event so we’ll be releasing a shared event on OSM at 19:00 on Wednesday 1st September, you’ll then need to accept the event and share with your scouts and places will automatically be given out on a first come, first served basis.
