Scouts & Explorers Survival Camp

Over the weekend of the 16th to 17th October, we took just under 100 Scouts/Explorers to Pinsent Campsite in Winchester for a Survival Camp, it was a busy weekend covering all the requirements for the Survival Skills badge.
It was a jam-packed weekend, with the highlights being:
- Building & Sleeping in a Bivouac
- Cooking all meals over an open-fire without utensils
- Every young person being able to gutting & cook their own fish for Lunch
- Working in small groups, a chance to skin, gut and cook Pheasant
It was great to see Young People and Adult Volunteers from across the District come together after the past 18 months of lockdown!
