Summer Camp 2022

In our bid to make more opportunities for nights away and to enhance our programmes across the district we are pleased to announce Summer Camp 2022. We hope going forwards to offer a larger summer camp every other year, along with an international experience on alternate years.

At this stage we have the high level detail available for you so that you can save the dates in your programme and will release the full information very soon.

Summer Camp 22 will be held at Great Tower in the Lake District. Set in the heart of the Lake District, on the shores of Windermere, Great Tower is one of the Scouts most stunning locations. We know that this is a little distance but we want to ensure we really do offer a Scouting adventure that will be remembered for a long time, we are therefore going to be providing coach travel to and from the event as part of the package.

Scouts & Explorers:  Will have a 7 night adventure from 1st August to 8th August.

Cubs: Will be joining us for a 4 night adventure from the 4th – 8th August

Both opportunities will be packed will activities as well as some time out to explore the Lake District. As we say full details will be released very soon but for now save the date.

Don’t worry Beavers, the district team are working on a camp for you ready for next year too!
