Explorer Scouts Update

As announced during our all members meeting on Monday 24th January, we are reinvigorating the Explorer Scout offering in Basingstoke East.

We have been working hard with the leadership teams from both Dragon and Phoenix Explorer Scout Units to understand the needs of the young people and adult volunteers in both units. So that we can continue to provide the best programme, amazing opportunities and a great leader team the two units will shortly begin the process of amalgamating into a single district Explorer Scout Unit.

After February half term the two units will begin meeting jointly every other week, so that our young people can get to know each and to start shaping their new unit together.  We want this new unit to created by our young people.

We are really excited for this new chapter in our Explorer Scouts and look forward to offering a new and exciting programme.
