Welcome to our newest group

We’re delighted to announce the opening of a new Scout group in Basingstoke East which will be called 7th Basingstoke.  The group is opening as part of a local demand in the community to provide quality experiences for young people and volunteers.  The new group will be based in the Albirr Foundation Mosque on Sarum Hill; The group will offer Scouting within an Islamic environment, although children from all faiths are very welcome to join.  They will be supported by the Muslim Scouting Fellowship (MSF).

We’re also delighted to announce that Bee Ahmed will be taking the role of Group Scout Leader in this new group – Bee has been in Scouting since April 2019 in both 3rd and 6th Basingstoke.  Please join us in welcoming her to this new role.   Other group leadership announcements will follow in due course.
