From 1 – 3 September 2023, Gilwell Park will come alive with an incredible programme of activities, workshops and entertainment. Learn new skills that will stay with you for life, find inspiring programme ideas and seek new challenges.

But Reunion is more than just a weekend of programme support. It’s also the chance to connect with like-minded Scouts, make new friends and reminisce with old ones.

After personally attending Reunion for a number of years, we feel there is a real value to it for volunteers across the district. That’s why we are really pleased to share that the District Board of Trustees has signed off a fund of £400 to support attendance at this event. This is an adult only event.

This fund will enable volunteers from across the District to claim up to half the cost of their ticket back from the District. We are expecting this years price to be around £40 per ticket which includes your full weekend camping. Therefore you could pay only £20 to attend.

The fund allows for around 20 people to claim half the ticket cost back, however if we have more take up this offer then the fund will simply be split accordingly between the total claiming. The fund will be open to most roles within the District other than occasional helpers; so leaders, exec members, etc will all be eligible. Full details on eligibility and how to claim will be released once tickets for the event become available.
