Makaton Level 1 Course

The District has been lucky to secure some funding to run Makaton Training with a local tutor.

The course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of the Makaton language programme, including how you will be able to use Makaton to support children and adults with communication difficulties. You can read more about Makaton here.

This will be run in two half days (09:00 to 13:00), and you must attend both sessions (Saturday 16^th September and Saturday 30^th September) and will be held at our District Hub at Chineham Shopping Centre.

Please note, we’re limited to 12 spaces on this course, but if the interest is there then we will re-run the course.
