Supporting Tescos with Poppy Display
16 September 2023
I have been approached by the new Tesco Community Champion, Jane Stubbs, about filling up a few of the Chineham Tesco windows with Poppies for Remembrance.
I have explained that most of you would have already planned your programme for this term & as she would like the display up from the 22nd Oct, this may be a tall order.
So, I need your help!
A golden opportunity to advertise your group and encourage volunteers.
Anyone from Squirrels to Adults can be involved.
A volunteer from your group or section will need to put up your display, on the windows, just before the 22nd October 2023. The display items, ideally, will need to be double sided & to be stuck to the window with blue tack. The displays will be taken down just after the 14th Nov by a member of Tesco. If you want part of your display back that can also be arranged.
It would be really helpful for me, if I knew which sections or groups are going to get involved, so that I can let Jane (Tesco) know. Please let me know by the 28th Sept if you will be taking part.
Here are some ideas..
- Scouts may wish to write something or put a collage of pictures together.
- Anything goes under the theme of Remembrance.
- There are various templates on the Twinkle website, if you have access.
- A few templates can also be found here: Template 1, Template 2, Template 3, Template 4
