District Youth Team Updates

We’ve got some exciting news to share regarding some changes in the District Youth Team, Jack Dilly is stepping into a new role as the 14 to 25 Team Lead, overseeing Explorer teams, Young Leader team, and Network team, while Nathan Robinson, previously the Deputy District Youth Commissioner, will be taking over as the District Youth Lead. These changes mark an exciting shift within the District, reinforcing the commitment to youth shaping their scouting experience and ensuring we’re giving as many opportunities as possible for our 14 to 25 year olds.
As the 14 to 25 Team Lead, Jack will have the important task of overseeing Explorer teams, Young Leaders team, and Network team, providing guidance and support to these age groups. His experience and enthusiasm will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of these programs, empowering young people to develop leadership skills, take on new challenges, and make a positive impact on their communities.
Nathan’s work will involve collaborating with the district’s youth members, and volunteers to create an inclusive and empowering environment for young people to learn, grow, and have fun through Scouting. His dedication to the principles of youth-led decision-making will help shape the future of Scouting in the district, ensuring that it remains an District where young people’s voices are heard and valued.
These changes within the District Youth Team represent an exciting and positive shift for the District and ensure that the District remains youth-centered and youth-led.
