Gone Home – Martin Spong

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Martin Spong on 01/12/2023.

Martin develoted a large part of this life to Scouting from the 2nd Crowthorne in the 70s to the 8th Basingstoke, Blackdam Sea Scouts and the East District in the 90s and 00s. A true peter pan in his heart and a huge advocate of letting young people be kids, he took alot of pleasure in parting knowledge and guidance.
