Squirrel Fun Day at Ferny Crofts

Following on from the success of the Squirrel Fun Day last year at Ferny Crofts, the date has now been confirmed for 2024. The date for your diaries is Saturday 24th September. As our Dreys are increasing in number so will the number of Squirrels who will get the opportunity to experience a full day of tailor-made activities which will challenge, thrill, and excite our youngest and newest Section.

If you think there are Scout activities that Squirrels can’t do, then think again. They will have ample opportunity to try Climbing, Archery, Backwoods cooking, Go Karts and Field Games and they WILL surprise you.

Building on the remarkable success of last year’s Squirrel Fun Day at Ferny Crofts, we are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of this fantastic event in 2024. Mark your calendars and save the date for Saturday, 21st September. It will be an unforgettable day packed with adventure and excitement designed specifically for our Squirrels – the youngest and newest section, whose numbers are growing!

This year, an even greater number of Squirrels will have the chance to take part in a variety of activities, that will challenge, thrill, and excite. From climbing to archery, backwoods cooking, go-karts, and field games, there’s something for every adventurous spirit, and artistic imagination can also flow in the Creative Zone.

Forget any doubts you may have about what our Squirrels can achieve; they’re ready to take on every activity with enthusiasm and surprise you with their abilities and bravery. The Squirrel Fun Day is not just an event; it’s a celebration of Squirrel energy and their spirit of adventure. It’s a day that will create memories that will last a lifetime. Get ready to be amazed at what our Squirrels can do!
