Basingstoke East Beavers are excited to join with the rest of the beavers in Hamspshire in holding a Teddy bear’s picnic to help raise funds for the Murray Parish Trust. It will be held at the Walled Garden near Down Grange sports centre.
The address is Down Grange Sports Complex, Pack Lane, Basingstoke, Hampshire. RG22 4ET. Follow signs for Down Grange Sports Complex and turn left at the brown tourist sign along Pack Lane. Follow the road past the athletics track and into the car park. The Walled Garden has large ornate front gates.
There is a small cost involved of £3 – this will ensure they get a cool badge and will entail a donation of at least £1 to the trust.
It is a picnic, so we ask that everyone bring their own packed lunch and drink. There will be a small sweet snack from us later in the afternoon.
Parking is very limited at the site, so please share lifts if possible, and take note of specific drop-off times which will be given to you by your colony leader closer to the time.
