Welcome Daria Cooke

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Daria Cooke as District Scout Network Commissioner, Daria will be helping to setup and lead our Network Unit in Basingstoke East which we are really excited about! It is really great to have Daria coming onboard and we look forward to working together.

Hi everyone!

I started in the scouting movement at the very beginning of it all, as a Beaver. I then progressed all the way up to a Young Leader and remained in Explorers until I reached the age where I said to say goodbye. In my years away whilst undertaking my studies and finding my way in the world, I always wondered to myself what Network would have been like to experience; over the years I have developed a strong want to provide that next stage for those leaving Explorers or even to welcome new members into the Scouting world.

I’m incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity, and ready to see what the future holds!
