We are really excited to let you know about some changes we have been making in the Scout Shop.

New Website

We have today launched our brand new website for the Scout Shop which offers a free click and collect service. You can order your uniform, casual clothing or accessories online for collection from the shop. We hope that this new service offers a great step forward in opening up more products to you. This website is publicly available so please encourage your parents and young people to order here too. Remember that all profit made in the Scout Shop stays with local Scouting.

Leader Discount

We are really pleased to introduce a discount for our leaders in both Basingstoke East & Basingstoke West Districts. Eligible leaders will receive 10% off uniform or casual clothing, if you’d like to use your discount in store just bring along something to show you are a local leader or you will get a code via email (please speak to your GSL if you don’t have this).  Terms & Conditions apply.

Parent Discount

As all profit made at Basingstoke Scout Shop stays within local Scouting we also want to encourage parents to shop locally with us rather than going to the HQ store, therefore we are also pleased to announce a discount of 10% on uniform only for parents in groups across Basingstoke East & West Districts. If you are a GSL or Section Leader, you will receive a discount code unique to your group within the next few days which you can share with your parents, especially new joiners. We are also in the process of getting some cards made which you will be able to hand out to your parents with the information on.

Refurbished Shop

During the Christmas period we’ve also been refurbishing the shop at Base 2000 and it will be reopening on Saturday 7^th January at 10:00am. Our refurbishment will allow us to offer a wider range of casual clothing and accessories, we are also now stocking Squirrel uniform. Brigitte and her team of volunteers are looking forward to seeing you in there soon. As a reminder the shop is open Thursday’s 18:00-20:00 & Saturday 10:00-12:00 except during the Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.

Wider Range

We have expanded our range online, so you may see some items which you could not usually get in store. This allows us to offer you more products which we can get to order very quickly.
